ACF On-line staffing portal

Linda O'Connell

NYSHFA/NYSCAL has been requesting through our weekly calls with DOH that ACFs be able to access the on-line staffing portal.  The note below is from the Governor’s office and was sent to Associations last night.  We have been asked to pass this along to our members and get the necessary information so access can be granted.

As you may be aware, Governor Cuomo has been appealing to health care professionals to assist in the COVID pandemic response.  More than 95,000 medical professionals have responded to the Governor’s call and the State has built an online portal for providers like yours to recruit candidates who may be a good fit for their facility’s needs.

New York State would like to get you access to this system to bring on RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to your facility as soon as possible.

The professionals in this system initially signed up to assist in hospital and testing settings, but this database could be a useful tool for you to find medical professionals who may be available to assist in your facility.

Signing up: To get access to the portal you need to provide the information for one point of contact and New York State will send them log-in credentials. Provide the following information to Linda O’Connell.

  • the name of your point of contact,
  • your facility name,
  • company if part of a larger system,
  • email and
  • phone number.

Please provide only one person per facility, though you may share the account internally. The credentialing process takes some time. You will get an email from with your log in account as soon as possible.

Using the Portal: You will be able to review the profiles of thousands of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to recruit to your facility. Finding the right match for your needs take some time - the professionals range in their experience, availability, and interest in volunteering or seeking paid work. We want to make this tool as easy as possible for you to use.
